There was a lot of wind which started a big storm on October 2, Monday morning. The storm was heading towards Jamaica and going fast.
The eye or the center of category 4 hurricane was expected to pass east of Jamaica early Tuesday, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami, Florida. It was then on track to hit the eastern tip of Cuba on Tuesday afternoon.
Whatever that center passes close to would see worst winds, and that was what was projected to happen for the western tip of Haiti.
The good news is that many people were safe and the hurricane was getting much weaker but the bad news was that many houses were still getting damaged.
