The ten best books for Surrey schools have been chosen by teacher-librarians. But it’s up to readers like you to decide on the winner!
Surrey Schools Book of the Year is a reading program for grades 3 to 7. The goal of the program is to promote the love of reading for enjoyment and appreciating a variety of genres.
Students read as many of the books as possible and then in May select their favorite. Votes are counted from all schools in Surrey and a winner will be announced in June. The book with the most votes will be the official Surrey School's Book of the Year!
The ten books selected by a committee of Teacher-Librarians include titles such as Random Acts, Lost in the Backyard and Speechless. For more information on these 10 books, visit http://thessboy.weebly.com/.
How many of these books will you read? And which will be your favorite?
